If you order at a shop through our button, the shop sometimes pays us a small commission. You pay nothing extra, the price is exactly the same. That's what covers our hosting and keeps MeatCode free. Below is exactly how it works.
How does an affiliate link work?
Pretty simple, really:
- •You click a "View at butcher" button on a product.
- •You go straight to the butcher's webshop. We don't sell anything ourselves.
- •At some shops, the webshop knows you came via us. If you buy something, we get a small percentage from the shop. The price you pay is exactly the same.
Which shops pay us a commission?
We're transparent about this. Right now we have an affiliate relationship with:

- ★vanbeekumspecerijen.nl
This list can change. We're slowly adding affiliate partnerships, only with shops we already rate. Every product with an affiliate link shows a small "ad" label so you know up front.
Why are we telling you this?
Because we have to and because it feels right. The Dutch ACM requires price comparison sites to disclose commercial relationships clearly, based on Article 6:193c of the Dutch Civil Code (ban on misleading commercial practices). Better too open than too quiet.
